This version is designed for petrol engines without a fuel return line. Engines with a return line require a suitable differential-measurement version.
Flowtrecs Android BT is a comprehensive fuel computer designed to display the most important parameters for marine vessels equipped with two petrol (gasoline) engines. Its applications are versatile, covering motorboats and yachts with outboard or inboard engines.
The device displays vital parameters for both engines simultaneously, including: independent fuel consumption, total economy, RPM, speed, battery voltage, and statistical data. Additional safety functions, such as MOB (Man Overboard), are also included.
The system is equipped with a 7" capacitive touch screen and durable aluminum alloy measurement sensors with internal sapphire bearings. The display unit runs on Android 6.0 OS, allowing users to install and use third-party applications like maps and navigation. It utilizes a wireless Bluetooth connection between the sensor hub and the screen, which significantly simplifies installation work by eliminating long cable runs from the engines to the cabin.
Sensor Capacity: Please choose the sensor version based on the maximum fuel consumption of your engine.
Diesel Engines: This kit is designed for standard Petrol engines. If you have Diesel engines with a return line, please select the Flowtrecs Android BT Diesel version.
Reading RPM from the ignition signal of a carbureted engine requires an additional Tacho Pulse Limiter. It conditions the signal and protects the instrument’s measurement input.
Two versions are available: IN — for inboard engines; OUT — for outboard engines.
For fuel-injected engines (EFI/DFI), a limiter is typically not needed when using a suitable electronic tachometer output.
The limiter is used only for RPM readings and is not required to measure fuel consumption.
Live fuel-consumption and fuel-economy readings help you adjust speed, trim and load distribution. Choosing efficient settings can reduce fuel use and running costs; savings depend on the boat, conditions and the skipper’s adjustments.
After purchasing, please specify your engine model in the order comments, and we will verify the best sensor fit for you.
