WARNING: Connecting a carbureted engine directly to the display unit without this limiter may permanently damage the device due to excessive voltage spikes.
The limiter filters and stabilizes these pulses, ensuring a clean signal for accurate engine speed calculation. It is an essential protective component for older carbureted outboards.
Compatibility: Designed for carbureted outboard motors. If you have an injection engine (EFI/DFI), this accessory is NOT required and the engine can be connected safely without it.
