Flowtrecs APP Twin Diesel is a comprehensive, wireless fuel consumption measuring system designed specifically for motorboats and yachts equipped with two diesel engines (with fuel return lines). It turns your Android device (phone or tablet) into a professional board computer.

This advanced system includes 4 flow sensors (Feed & Return for each engine) and a dedicated Bluetooth transmitter unit. It performs differential measurement for both engines simultaneously, calculating the real-time net consumption with high reliability.

The system uses reliable and durable aluminum alloy sensors with sapphire bearings. The data is displayed directly on your mobile device via the free Flowtrecs App (available on Google Play), allowing you to optimize your speed for maximum fuel savings without installing expensive dedicated screens.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - SENSOR SELECTION FOR DIESEL:

For Diesel engines equipped with a fuel return line, selecting the correct sensors requires knowing your fuel pump's capacity, not just the engine's fuel consumption.

In diesel systems, the fuel pump circulates much more fuel than the engine actually consumes (the excess returns to the tank). Therefore, the flow sensors must handle the full flow rate of the feed pump.

Example: If your engine consumes 50 l/h but the fuel pump circulates 100 l/h, you must choose a sensor capable of handling at least 100 l/h (e.g., XL range), not the S range.

Installation Notes:

  • RPM Readings: May require additional Hall sensors (not included) if your engines do not provide electronic RPM signals.
  • Pulsation: Depending on the condition of your engines' feeding pumps, additional components like one-way valves or pulsation dampers may be necessary to stabilize readings.

Available Flow Sensor Versions (per sensor):

  • S for engines 20 - 60 HP (0.5 - 20 l/h) (1.2 mm nozzle diameter)
  • M for engines 60 - 130 HP (1 - 40 l/h) (2 mm nozzle diameter)
  • L for engines 130 - 250 HP (1.5 - 90 l/h) (3 mm nozzle diameter)
  • XL for engines 250 - 300 HP (2 - 120 l/h) (4 mm nozzle diameter)
  • XXL for engines 300 - 350 HP (3 - 180 l/h) (4.5 mm nozzle diameter)
  • 3XL for engines 350 HP and more (5 - 300 l/h) (6 mm nozzle diameter)
