This version is designed for petrol engines without a fuel return line. Engines with a return line require a suitable differential-measurement version.
Flowtrecs WAVE 4.3 Twin Petrol is a comprehensive fuel computer designed to display the most important parameters for marine vessels equipped with two petrol (gasoline) engines. It is the perfect solution for motorboats and yachts with outboard or inboard engines requiring efficient fuel management.
The device displays vital parameters for both engines simultaneously, including: independent fuel consumption, total economy, RPM, speed, battery voltage, and statistical data. This model is equipped with two flow sensors to monitor each engine individually.
The system is equipped with a high-brightness 4.3" capacitive touch screen ensuring excellent readability in sunlight. The housing is fully waterproof (IP68), allowing it to work in open cockpits and virtually any weather condition. It uses reliable and durable aluminum alloy sensors with sapphire bearings.
Sensor Capacity: Please choose the sensor version based on the maximum fuel consumption of your engine.
Fuel Return: This kit is designed for standard Petrol engines. If you have Diesel engines with a return line, please select the Flowtrecs Diesel Twin version (which includes 4 sensors).
Reading RPM from the ignition signal of a carbureted engine requires an additional Tacho Pulse Limiter. It conditions the signal and protects the instrument’s measurement input.
Two versions are available: IN — for inboard engines; OUT — for outboard engines.
For fuel-injected engines (EFI/DFI), a limiter is typically not needed when using a suitable electronic tachometer output.
The limiter is used only for RPM readings and is not required to measure fuel consumption.
Live fuel-consumption and fuel-economy readings help you adjust speed, trim and load distribution. Choosing efficient settings can reduce fuel use and running costs; savings depend on the boat, conditions and the skipper’s adjustments.
After purchasing, please specify your engine model in the order comments, and we will verify the best sensor fit for you.
